- 2nd - 4th May Stroke News Poetry Competition Kate is the shortlisting judge.
- 10th May - Kate will be attending the annual E Sussex NHS Nurses Celebration day at Bannatynes Hotel, Hastings
- 6th June - the launch of Kate's winning audio-story 'A Bicycle Made for Two' on the train between Eastbourne and Ashford.
- 30th June - Kate's performing at the Rye Creative Centre's new monthly cabaret night.
- 7th July - Kate is guest speaker at the Stroke Association Annual Assembly.
