Welcome to the world of Kate I was born in 68 For a poet that year is great As it rhymes with mate and late and date And state and fate and hate and bait And rate and plate and ate and gate Almost too many words to relate Every day I thank heaven I wasn't born in 67!

Kate was recently shortlisted for the Grace Dieu Writer's Circle 2009 poetry competition with her poem £5's Worth of Love.

Events
Kate is currently engaged in writing comical songs with her song-writing partner Claire Hamill. You can see them Thursday 18th June at the Funny Women competition being held at Intermission, St Saviours Church , Walton Street , Knightsbridge, London SW7 From 6:45-8:15pm.
