WANTED - A NEW ST LEONARDS TWIN!
Raised by monkeys in the rainforests of the north east, Kate St.Leonard is one half of a pair of travelling troubadours ploughing their musical furrow in fields, meadows and turnip patches near you! However...her twin has now gone on to pastures new... and Kate needs a new twin. Could it be you?
You will:
- be female,
- between 30 - 50,
- be able to play an instrument to a very high standard,
- be able to write music to support Kate's lyrics,
- be able to perform (ie play accompaniment and sing) funny-material confidently,
- be able to work collaboratively,
- have a fantastic sense of humour (and not mind a bit of rudery!),
- be available in the day as well as evenings,
- be based in/near to Hastings.

Kate is appearing at Tongue Tide. A bi-monthly showcase of some of the most dynamic and talented performance poets from around the UK.

Kate had 3 poems, ( What Are We Protecting Our Children From, This Girl's World and BodyShock) selected for the BodyGossip Performance in August 2009 at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The performance raised money for BEAT, the UK's eating disorders association, and shouted a loud message of support and solidarity to everyone who is suffering from low self-esteem due to body image.

Kate was shortlisted for the Grace Dieu Writer's Circle 2009 poetry competition with her poem £5's Worth of Love.
