Writing & Editorial Services
Kate is ex-Commissioning Editor of Random House Children’s Books. She is a published children’s books author of some fifteen years’ standing and has one adult ‘chick lit’ novel under her belt. She has provided freelance writing and editing services to, among others, Random House, Puffin, Hodder / Hachette, Element and Brilliant Books.
Kate is happy to undertake a range of work including:
- Writing to Commission
- Ghost writing
- Restructuring/re-writing
- Retelling
- Compiling / anthologising
- Copywiriting – website content, catalogue copy, marketing and promotional material, back cover copy
- Full project editing / management
- Reading and reporting on manuscripts (agented or unsolicited)
- Copy-editing and proof reading
